I want to share a layout I did to help document my son's first year in high school. For this layout I used patterned papers from Studio Calico's Classic Calico Collection.

I used Prima Alphabet Stickers for the title and inked them with Hero Arts Wet Cement ink. I also added a brad from My Minds Eye to my title. I created the notebook edge under the title with my EK Success Binding Edge Punch.

I created the tabs with the Tim Holtz File tabs die. Each tab is actually a pocket I can use to add a few pages of school work, report cards, class/ band schedules, and journaling.

The letters on the alphabet paper were too bright and distracted from my photos, so I toned them down by inking them with more of the Hero arts Wet Cement Ink.

This week is Spring Break for my kiddos. I love having them home and getting to spend some time with them. We spent some time outside in the beautiful weather this weekend and today it turned rainy so we stayed indoors and spent the morning crafting together. We are going to spend the rest of the afternoon watching movies and eating popcorn. Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!
