Mother's Day Gift with Epiphany Crafts

Mother's Day is just around the corner and today I am here to share a gift I created for my mom using Epiphany Crafts tools and accessories. My mom loves to sew so I put together this sewing basket gift box and spool shaped card.

Let me show you what I used to put this project together starting with the sewing basket.

To make the sewing basket start with a template from My Time Made Easy. Cut all pieces with the Silhouette Cameo, other die cut machine, or by hand, and assemble.

Add a couple of paper charms cut with the Silhouette Cameo and a tag from the Echo Park For the Record 2 collection.

I added drawer pulls to each of the smaller boxes using Epiphany Crafts Brad Settings.

Choose your patterned paper and use the Epiphany Crafts Round 14 Studio Tool to punch two circles. Add Epiphany Crafts Round 14 Bubble Caps to each of the patterned paper circles and adhere to Epiphany Crafts Brad Settings.

Remove the prongs from the back of the brads and adhere a small wooden circle or round pop dot to the back of the brad. Adhere the pieces to the drawers.

.

Inside the first drawer I added buttons I made using the Epiphany Crafts Button Tool and accessories.

Select your pattern papers and use the Epiphany Crafts Round 20 Tool to punch eight paper circles.

Adhere the paper circles to the Epiphany Crafts clear button pieces.

Die cut button cards with the Silhouette Cameo, assemble pieces, and sew buttons in place.

Inside the second drawer I added spools of thread and a small box I hand cut.

I hand cut dividers to separate pins and needles in the drawer.

In the lower portion of the basket I added some treats and a gift card to a local craft store.

I put together this quick and simple card to give along with the basket. To make the card start by cutting a spool shaped card. I used my Silhouette Cameo to die cut this card. Wrap ribbon around the middle of the card, add a metal charm with the sentiment, and finish off with a bow.

To make the charm select patterned paper and use the Epiphany Crafts Round 14 Tool to punch a circle.

Stamp the sentiment on the patterned paper with Versamark Ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Add a bubble cap to the top of the circle and then adhere to an Epiphany Crafts Round 14 Metal Charm Setting.
