Hip to be Square with Epiphany Crafts

This week the Epiphany Crafts Design Team is sharing projects using the square tool. Be sure to stop by the Epiphany Crafts blog for more ideas. For my project I made this cute bird necklace using the Epiphany Crafts Square Tool, a stamp, and wax from The Paper Studio.

To make the bird charm start by heating the wax and allow it to melt into a puddle onto a heat resistant surface (I used the Ranger Craft Mat). Give the wax a few seconds to harden slightly and then press your Versamark ink coated stamp into the wax. Once the wax has hardened gently remove the stamp to reveal the image. If the image isn't to your liking simply reheat the wax and stamp the image again. Once your image is ready, use the Epiphany Crafts square tool to punch a square from a scrap piece of cardstock. Use the cardstock square to trim away any extra wax so it will fit inside the Epiphany Crafts charm. You can use any colored wax for this charm or color the wax using Adirondack inks or metallic mixatives. Once your wax piece is ready, adhere it to the Epiphany Crafts charm with a strong adhesive and add the charm to a chain and the necklace is complete.
