Sending Love

I'm back today with a couple of fun Valentine's cards. I started with the My Favorite Things Die-namics Love die to make the main panel of my card. I wanted to add a bit of dimension to my cards so I used my scoring board to score the top and bottom of the letters and then 1/4 inch above and below the words. (Although I scored 1/4 inch above and below the words, you can score any length you would like to use. If I made more of these cards I would probably go with an 1/8 inch.) After you fold along all of the score lines the word LOVE really stands out and adds dimension to your card.

For the red version of my card I die cut the word SENDING using the Simon Says Stamp Sending die. I die cut the larger hearts using the Simon Says Stamp Large Heart die set and the smaller hearts were punched with an older punch from my stash and then adhered them with foam adhesive for added dimension.

I used the clear Wink of Stella pen to add a bit of shimmer to the hearts and words.

For the pink version of my card I die cut the word YOU using the My Favorite Things Die-namics Love and Adore You dies and then followed all the same steps as the red card to finish it.

Thanks for stopping by today! I'll be back with another Valentine's project this week.
