You're My Type of Friend



I have a card to share with you today. I pulled out Hero Arts, Papertrey Ink, and Simon Says Stamps to use on my card. I stamped the typewriter and sentiment with VersaFine ink using the Hero Arts You're My Type stamp set and then stamped the solid heart image from the Simon Says Stamp Lots of Hearts set with VersaMagic Pixie Dust Ink. The hands at the bottom of the card were made using the Papertrey Ink Give Me a Hand stamp set and dies.

 

I also added a small bracelet to one of the arms using clear cord and seed beads and then adhered both hands to the card with foam adhesive for a bit of added dimension. I also added a couple of small hearts to the top of the card. I wanted them to match the stamped heart so I used colored a scrap of white cardstock with the pixie dust ink and then punched them out using an older heart punch from my stash.
