Layout Share

I had a lot of fun playing in my new craft room this weekend. My girls joined me and I probably spent more time helping or pulling out supplies for them than I did on my own creations, lol, but it was just what we needed. I want to share the layout I created using the heat embossed and resisted technique for a class I am taking at Ella Publishing. I have used this technique on cards and tags before, but this is the first time I have used it on a layout. I love how it turned out and can't wait to use this technique on another layout. Here is my layout:

Here are a few close ups so you can see more of the details:

Supplies: I used stamps from Hero Arts and Studio AE, Echo Park patterned paper, punches from Fiskars and Martha Stewart, a Becky Higgins journaling card, buttons from Basic Grey and Autumn Leaves, Paper Studio vellum, and the inks I used are from Ranger, Jenni Bowlin, and Stampin Up.

When I was unpacking and organizing my craft room I also came across a couple of layouts and cards I made at the Scrapping for Soldiers crop last year. I don't think I shared any of those so they are next on the list of things to share on my blog. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my layout. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
