Xyron and Globecraft Memories

Xyron and Globecraft Memories have teamed up for an inspiration filled week. Be sure to stop by the Xyron and Globecraft Memories blogs to see what the other design team members have created using these products.

When I received the Globecraft Memories Card Decor Set #5 I knew the adorable cat chipboard pieces would make fun charms on a bracelet for my youngest daughter. To cover the chipboard pieces I used Craf-T Products Metallic Rub-On blue paint and then added a coat of Glossy Accents. I added the cat pieces and a few other charms to finish the bracelet and then made a jewelry gift box using my Silhouette Cameo and Studio files from the Silhouette store.

The Cameo Spotlight Challenge #4: Triangles

It's time for another Cameo Spotlight challenge and this time we're playing with triangles! Be sure to stop by The Cameo Spotlight blog to see what the other design team members and guest designer, Jin Yong have created for this challenge.

For this challenge we also have a fun sponsor giveaway. One lucky winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to Lettering Delights! Stop by The Cameo Spotlight blog for more details on this giveaway.

Today I have a card and file to share with you. I created a kite that opens to reveal the sentiment for the recipient. Here is a look at the kite on the front of my card.

This is how it opens to reveal the sentiment. I think these little birds from the Echo Park Hello Summer Collection are just too cute.

Supplies:
Silhouette Cameo
Bazzill White Cardstock
Echo Park Hello Summer 6x6 Pad
Echo Park Sweet Day 6x6 Pad
Xyron 1.5" Sticker Maker
Xyron Mega Runner

I also created a couple of clouds to go along with the kite. The files are in the studio format and made for use with the Silhouette Studio software and die cut machines. You can click on the photo below to download the files. If you use any of my files in your creations, please provide a link to my blog.

I hope you enjoyed my project. Don't forget to stop by The Cameo Spotlight blog and submit your own creations for this challenge! Have a great day!

Xyron and Clearsnap

Xyron and Clearsnap have teamed up this week to bring you some fabulous projects. Don't forget to stop by the Clearsnap and Ain't She Crafty blogs for more inspiration.

I received some fun products to play with and have 3 projects to share. Veterans day will soon be upon us and the Red, White, and Blue Colorbox Pigment Stamp Pad was perfect to color this card.

I cut the star shape using my Silhouette Cameo from white Bazzill cardstock and colored the star pieces with the ink pad. I added a sentiment, adhered everything together, and this quick and easy card was complete.

Supplies:
Red, White, and Blue Colorbox Pigment Stamp Pad by Clearsnap
Xyron Mega Runner
Bazzill White Cardstock
Hero Arts Everyday Sayings Stamp Set
Silhouette Cameo
Patriotic Star Two Silhouette Studio File

It's never too early to start creating for the holidays and for my next project I created these two ornaments using Winter Frost Glitter from Clearsnap.

I die cut two snowflake shapes, ran them through my Xyron 5" Creative Station, and added the glitter. The Xyron adhesive makes it quick and easy to apply the glitter and is a lot less messy than using a liquid glue. I finished the ornaments off with stamps from Papertrey Ink, a few beads, and a hook I made from wire.

Supplies:
Clearsnap Winter Frost Glitter
Xyron 5" Creative Station
Xyron Mega Runner
Bazzill White Cardstock
Papertrey Ink 2011 Holiday Tags Stamp Set
Papertrey Ink Snowflake, Scallop Circle, and Circle Dies
Jenni Bowlin Ink
Clear Beads by Crafts, etc.
Silver Artistic Wire

For my final project I made a couple of simple Fall place cards using Clearsnap Gold Glow Smooch Spritz.

I cut the pieces of the place cards using my Silhouette Cameo and sprayed the leaves with the golden glow spritz. It may be hard to see in the photos, but it's such a gorgeous gold color. I also used it to paint the edges of the cardstock before adhering the name piece on top of it. These would be quick and simple to make for each person attending a Thanksgiving celebration or other get togethers.

Supplies:
Clearsnap Gold Glow Smooch Spritz
Xyron 5" Creative Station
Brown and Cream Cardstock Colors
Silhouette Cameo
Fall Tent Card Silhouette Studio File
Fall Leaves Silhouette Studio File

I hope you enjoyed my projects. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Tag You're It!

Good morning and welcome to the Paper Issues blog hop! You should be hopping over from Bethany's blog, but be sure to start at the Paper Issues blog and work your way through the list of DT members in the hop. They are sharing some fabulous projects and inspiration today.

There is also an amazing giveaway- an eBosser from Craftwell! You'll definately want to check out Craftwell on Facebook and then head over to the Paper Issues blog to find all the details on how to enter the giveaway.

Our issues for this theme is tags! I had a lot of fun using The Sweetest Thing collection from My Mind's Eye to create my tag album. This album holds some of my favorite photos of my daughter Lisa. I love the way the album turned out and can't wait to put together more albums like this for my other children.

I also made a box to house the album using the 3D Notes Box by Lori Whitlock. For the album I started with Lori Whitlock's Pocket Tag to make the front and back covers of the album. I then created my own simple and interactive pages to fill the album. I kept the embellishments simple, added my photos, and my album was finished. Here is a look at the pages of the album.

This is the other side of the front cover and stores additional photos and tags.

Using the Papertrey Ink Shutterbug Special stamp set and die I created another pocket to hold mini photo strips I took using my iPad.

Using my Silhouette software I welded my daughters name to a rectangle shape, cut it with my Cameo, and cut the corners to match the other tags.

I handcut this tag and used my Basic Grey Notch and Die tool to create the closure. It opens to reveal more mini photo strips and tags for journaling.

I cut my photo into a tag shape and layered a vellum tag over the top. I also used my Cameo to cut a rectangle shape with the word beauty cut at the bottom and then trimmed the corners to make the tag shape.

I also cut this tag by hand and added a title die cut to the front. This tag opens and holds a photo and embellishments. It may be hard to see in the photo, but I used the Basic Grey Notch and Die tool to create another closure for the flap.

For this tag I used the Silhouette software to weld the word love to a larger rectangle and cut it out with my Cameo. I used my scoring board to create the flap that opens revealing another photo and embellishments.

The back cover and another pocket tag that holds additional photos and tags.
