CAS(E) this Sketch! Challenge #7

A new challenge is up at CAS(E) this Sketch! and we have a wonderful sketch from Jackie Rockwell to work with this week!

I kept my card super simple and pretty close to the sketch. Here is my take on the sketch:

When I saw the Have a Happy Holiday Season sentiment from the My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland 6x6 pad I knew it would work great with this sketch. After cutting out the sentiment I cut two strips of the blue striped patterned paper the same size as my sentiment piece and adhered them to my card. I created the border using my Fiskars scalloped edge punch and the red woodgrain patterned paper from the 6x6 pad.

Supplies:
My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland 6x6 Pad (Sentiment Piece and Red Woodgrain Patterned Paper)
My Mind's Eye Merry 6x6 Pad (Blue Striped Patterned Paper)
Fiskars Scalloped Edge Punch
Bazzill White Cardstock
Xyron 5" Creative Station

Be sure to stop by the CAS(E) this Sketch! blog to see what the other design team members have created and to add your own cards to the challenge. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
