Paper Issues Blog Hop

Welcome to another Paper Issues blog hop! You should have arrived from Judean's blog, but don't forget to check out all the amazing projects from the other girls participating in the blog hop:
The newest theme at Paper Issues is Honey Bee! For my project I used the My Mind's Eye Follow Your Heart collection. I love the colors and patterns of the papers in this collection and the hexagon shapes were so much fun to use in my project. Paper Issues is giving away this fun kit full of My Mind's Eye goodness. Be sure to check out the blog for all the details on how to enter the giveaway! You can also find lots of fun goodies in the Paper Issues shop. Don't forget to use the code INSPIREME to get 20% off of your entire order!!

I am also having a giveaway here on my blog:

These are some of my favorite papers from the collection. I am also giving away this embellishment pack, twine, and stamp set with the papers. To enter just leave me a comment by June 9th and I will choose one winner and announce it here on my blog.

For my project I made this simple gift set:

I used the Trendy Tool Tote SVG file from My Time Made Easy and my Silhouette to create the gift box in this set.

I made a banner to go across the front of the box and I love how it turned out.

The large hexagon was cut from American Crafts grey cardstock and the other shapes were cut from papers in the 6x6 My Mind's Eye paper pad. The butterflies are from the Be Amazing button pack.

I kept the card simple. I started with grey cardstock from American Crafts and only added a few paper embellishments and a brad.

The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Everyday Sayings stamp set and the ink is Hero Arts Wet Cement.
